Suit Dry Cleaning & Pressing

A good suit is an investment, and it is built in layers: outer fabric, interfacing, padding and lining. Cleaning it the wrong way can flatten lapels, leave a shine on the fabric or distort the shoulders. Our suit dry cleaning service is designed to clean the whole garment while protecting that structure.

About This Service

Jacket, trousers and waistcoat are cleaned together so the colour of every piece stays matched. Marks on cuffs, collars and the front of the jacket get attention before cleaning.

Pressing is done with care around lapels, shoulders and pockets, and trouser creases are set cleanly. The suit is returned on a hanger to keep its shape.

What We Clean

  • Two- and three-piece suits
  • Blazers and sports jackets
  • Tuxedos and dinner suits
  • Waistcoats
  • Formal trousers
  • Bandhgalas and Jodhpuri suits

Before You Book: Care Considerations

  • Clean all pieces of a suit at the same time so they age and fade evenly.
  • Suits rarely need cleaning after every wear. Brushing, airing and hanging properly between wears help them last longer; clean when they are soiled or worn several times.
  • Point out any spills straight away, especially sugary drinks, which can turn brown over time even when invisible at first.

Our Process

  1. Inspection

We check fabric, lining, buttons and pockets, and note marks.

  2. Spot treatment

Collars, cuffs and visible marks are pre-treated.

  3. Dry cleaning

All pieces are cleaned together for even colour.

  4. Shape pressing

Lapels, shoulders and trouser creases are pressed with care.

  5. Hanging

The suit is returned on a hanger, ready to wear.

Please note

Over-pressed shine from previous ironing, moth damage and worn areas cannot be reversed by cleaning. Some fused (glued) jackets may show bubbling if the interfacing was already weakening; we will point out any concerns we notice before cleaning.

FAQs

Suit Dry Cleaning Questions

How often should I dry clean my suit?

Usually only when it is visibly soiled, has a spill, or has been worn several times. Frequent cleaning is not needed if you air and brush the suit between wears.

Should I clean the jacket and trousers together?

Yes. Cleaning the pieces together keeps their colour consistent over time.

Can you remove shine from a suit?

Shine is often caused by pressing with too much heat. Cleaning and careful steaming can sometimes reduce mild shine, but it cannot always be removed.
